1. About Cellar Hatch

Welcome to Cellar Hatch, an independent British clothing brand specialising in original illustrated apparel inspired by history, folklore, mythology and traditional imagery.

Our T-shirts are printed in-house in Lancashire, England.

These Terms of Service explain the conditions under which you may use our website and purchase our products.

By placing an order through cellarhatch.uk, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

2. Products and Descriptions

We make every reasonable effort to describe and photograph our products accurately.

However, colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen settings and device.

Our T-shirts are printed in-house, and minor variations in print positioning or appearance may occur.

Product availability, designs and specifications may change from time to time.

3. Prices and Payments

All prices are displayed in British pounds sterling (GBP).

Delivery charges are calculated separately and displayed before you complete your purchase.

Payment must be completed through the payment methods available at checkout.

We reserve the right to correct genuine pricing errors. If an error affects your order, we will contact you before proceeding and offer you the option to accept the corrected price or receive a refund.

4. Orders

When you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation by email.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where there is a genuine reason, including product unavailability, suspected fraudulent activity or an obvious pricing error.

If we cannot fulfil an order that has already been paid for, we will contact you and arrange a refund.

5. Printing and Production

Cellar Hatch prints its T-shirts in-house.

As items are prepared for individual orders, please allow time for printing, quality checks and packaging before dispatch.

Estimated processing and delivery times will be communicated through our website or order information.

Printing a standard catalogue design after an order is placed does not remove your statutory cancellation rights.

6. UK Shipping and Delivery

Cellar Hatch currently delivers to addresses within the United Kingdom only.

We do not offer international shipping at this time.

Orders are normally dispatched using Royal Mail or another suitable delivery service.

Delivery times are estimates and may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our control.

We remain responsible for goods until they are delivered to you or someone you have authorised to receive them, in accordance with applicable consumer law.

7. Returns, Refunds and Size Exchanges

We offer a voluntary 30-day returns and size exchange policy, in addition to your statutory consumer rights.

Customers may request a size exchange within 30 days of receiving their order, subject to product availability and the conditions set out in our Returns & Refunds Policy.

For ordinary size exchanges, customers pay the postage to return the original item. Cellar Hatch covers the cost of sending the replacement size within the UK.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

8. Faulty or Incorrect Products

We aim to ensure every order meets our quality standards.

If your product is faulty, damaged or incorrect, please contact hello@cellarhatch.uk with your order details.

We will arrange an appropriate remedy in accordance with your statutory consumer rights.

9. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the Cellar Hatch brand name, original artwork, illustrations, photographs, written content and website materials are owned by Cellar Hatch or used with appropriate permission.

These materials may not be reproduced, distributed, commercially exploited or used to create products without permission from the relevant rights holder.

Nothing in these terms claims ownership of historical symbols, traditional imagery or other material that is in the public domain.

10. Website Use

You agree not to misuse our website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious software or interfere with its normal operation.

We may restrict access where necessary to protect the website, customers or business.

11. Privacy and Personal Information

We respect your privacy.

Personal information provided when placing an order or contacting us is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law.

Our website is powered by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform used to operate our store.

The latest version will be published on this page.

Changes will not retrospectively remove rights arising from orders already placed.
